Merit +1 — Privacy Policy

1. Offline-First & Zero Personal Data Collection
Merit +1 does not collect, transmit, rent, or sell any personal data. The app requires no account registration and contains zero advertising SDKs, cloud databases, or third-party analytics trackers.
- Local Storage Only: All wish plaques, focus records, Merit points, altar tributes, and poetic slips stay locally on your iPhone and paired Apple Watch via UserDefaults and App Group (group.com.bing.incensefocus) solely for Widget and Live Activity sync.
- One-Tap Local Reset: Clear all local shrine data anytime inside Settings > Reset Local Shrine Data, or by deleting the app.
2. On-Device Hardware Sensors & Foldable Posture
- Accelerometer, Gyroscope & Hinge Posture: Used strictly in real time in volatile memory for iPhone shake-to-draw slips, iPhone Duo foldable posture adaptation, and optional Apple Watch wrist bow/departure reminders. Sensor readings are never recorded or transmitted.
- Zero Health Data Access: Merit +1 does not read or request Apple HealthKit or medical data.
3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Optional Patron Pass plans (Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime) are processed directly by Apple via StoreKit 2 under Apple's Standard EULA. We never receive your payment card or Apple ID details.
4. Cultural & Mindfulness Notice
Shrine patrons, pixel tributes, and 36 classical poetic slips are artistic and literary metaphors encouraging calm study and focus — not supernatural prediction or medical, financial, or legal advice.
